How to Receive Your Salary into Wirex One

Have your salary paid directly into your Wirex One account. No extra steps — just share your account details with your payroll team once, and your salary arrives automatically every pay cycle.

How to set it up

In the app, tap Add → Salary.

You'll see your account details for the selected currency.

Swipe between your USD, EUR, and GBP accounts to find the right one.

Share your details with your employer in one of two ways:

Tap Share Account Details to copy or forward them directly.
Tap Send Email to open a pre-filled email ready to send to your payroll team.

That's it. Once your employer updates their records, your salary will land in your Wirex One account on your usual pay date.

Account details by currency

Share your Wirex One account details with your employer — the required fields depend on your account currency.

EUR account — IBAN + BIC/SWIFT
USD account — Account number + routing number (ABA)
GBP account — Account number + sort code

These are the same details used for standard bank transfers. The Salary option simply makes it easier to share them with your employer.

Is the Salary option different from a regular bank transfer?

The account details are identical. The Salary screen is a convenient way to access and share them — with a one-tap email option designed for payroll communication.

Can I receive salaries in multiple currencies?

Yes — swipe between your accounts to find the right details for each currency and share accordingly.

How long does it take for my salary to arrive?

Arrival times depend on the payment network your employer uses — the same as a standard bank transfer. SEPA and Faster Payments are usually instant; ACH typically takes 1–3 business days.

My salary hasn't arrived on pay day — what should I do?

Check with your employer first to confirm the payment was sent. If it was, see My Deposit Hasn't Arrived or contact Wirex One support with the payment reference.

Can my employer send from a business account?

Salary payments from a business account in your employer's name are generally accepted, as long as your name is included as the beneficiary reference. Check with Wirex One support if you're unsure.
