Send any supported cryptocurrency from your Wirex One wallet to an external wallet or exchange — directly from the Investment tab.

How to send crypto

Adding a new recipient

1

Tap Send from your Portfolio or a specific asset.

2

Tap Add New to enter recipient details: Label (a nickname for this wallet), Wallet address, Network, and Memo (shown only if required by the selected network).

3

Tap Continue — the address is validated automatically.

4

Enter the amount. The account is fixed based on the asset selected — it cannot be changed on this screen.

5

Review the full breakdown on the Review screen, including network fees.

6

Tap Confirm and complete Passkey verification.

7

The transaction appears in your Activity immediately.

Sending to a saved recipient

1

Tap Send from your Portfolio or a specific asset.

2

Select a recipient from your list — sorted by most recently used. Search by first name, last name, or nickname.

3

Review their details, enter the amount, and confirm.

Note: Recipients with stablecoins (USDC, USDT, EURC) are not shown in the crypto Send flow — stablecoin transfers are handled via the Home tab.

Managing recipients

  • Recipients are saved automatically after the first successful transfer.
  • Search by first name, last name, or nickname.
  • To delete a recipient, swipe left and confirm.

Tracking your transfer

For complete visibility, tap the transaction in your Activity and select More to view the full status timeline — updating automatically at every stage, so you're always in control.

FAQ

Do I need to verify my account to send crypto?
No verification is required for onchain crypto transfers.
Can I change the account I'm sending from?
No — the account is fixed based on the asset selected and cannot be changed on the Enter Amount screen.
What is a Memo?
Some networks require a Memo in addition to the wallet address to route the transfer correctly. Always include it if the recipient provides one — omitting it can result in lost funds.
Can I send stablecoins from the Investment tab?
No — stablecoin transfers (USDC, USDT, EURC) are handled via the Home tab's Onchain Transfer flow, not via crypto Send.
Can I edit a saved recipient's details?
Not directly — delete the recipient and re-add them with the updated details. Full recipient editing is coming in a future update.
Can I cancel a crypto transfer once confirmed?
No — blockchain transactions are irreversible once broadcast. Always double-check the address, network, and Memo before confirming.
My transfer hasn't arrived — what do I do?
Check the status timeline in Activity. Share the transaction hash (TXID) with the recipient so they can verify on a blockchain explorer. If unresolved, contact Wirex One support.
