Moving Funds Between Your Accounts (USD, EUR & GBP)

Modified on Tue, 23 Jun at 3:18 PM

The Move feature lets you transfer funds between your Wirex One accounts instantly — whether you're moving between currencies (e.g. USD → EUR). The rate, minimum receive amount, and any applicable fee are shown before you confirm.

How to move funds

1

Tap Move on the Dashboard or Account screen.

2

Select the From account — the account you're moving funds from.

3

Select the To account — the account you're moving funds to.

4

Enter the amount.

5

Tap Continue — the system calculates the rate, minimum receive amount, slippage, and fee in real time.

6

Review the full breakdown on the Review screen:

  • Min Receive — the minimum amount you'll receive if the rate changes before your exchange is completed.
  • Slippage — the maximum rate change allowed before your exchange is executed.
7

Tap Confirm.

8

You will see a success screen confirming the move, and the transaction will appear in your Activity.

Note: If the transaction expires before confirmation, you will see: "Transaction expired. Please try again." You will be returned to the Home screen to start a new transaction.

Tracking your Move

For complete visibility into every Move, tap the transaction in your Activity and select More to view the full status timeline.

From the moment a Move is initiated, it appears in your Activity with an amber status — updating automatically at every stage until the transfer is complete. Should a Move fail or expire at any point, the timeline reflects this instantly — showing exactly where and why, so you're always in control.

FAQ

What is the Move feature?
Move lets you transfer or exchange funds between your Wirex One accounts instantly.
Do I need a balance to use Move?
The Move button is always available, but you'll need sufficient balance in the selected From account to complete the transfer.
Can I switch the From and To accounts?
Yes — tap the swap icon to reverse the direction. If you have only two accounts and change one side to match the other, the opposite account switches automatically.
What is Min Receive?
The minimum amount you're guaranteed to receive, even if the exchange rate shifts slightly before your transaction is completed.
What is Slippage?
The maximum rate change Wirex One will allow before executing your exchange. If the rate moves beyond this threshold, the transaction will not be processed.
Is there a fee?
Fees are shown on the Review screen before you confirm. You'll always see a full breakdown upfront.
The amount I received is less than expected — why?
For cross-currency exchanges, the final amount may differ slightly from the quoted amount due to rate movements within the allowed slippage range. The minimum amount you were guaranteed to receive is shown on the Review screen before confirmation.
Can I cancel a Move once confirmed?
No — once confirmed and submitted, a Move cannot be cancelled. Always review the full breakdown on the Review screen before tapping Confirm.
What happens if my Move transaction expires?
If the exchange cannot be completed at the quoted rate, the transaction will not be processed. You'll see: "Transaction expired. Please try again." — simply start a new Move to proceed.
Will I be charged if my transaction expires?
No — expired transactions are not processed and no funds are deducted from your account.
Where do I see the result of my Move?
In your Activity feed — the transaction appears immediately after submission. Tap it and select More to see the full status timeline at any point.
How do I track a Move in progress?
Tap the transaction in your Activity and select More — you'll see the full status timeline updating in real time at every stage.
